2. Service Description

Symmetric Research provides compute infrastructure for artificial intelligence through our Standard Compute Unit (SCU) exchange platform and related services ("Services").

3. User Account

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password for your account and for any activities or actions under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our Services, you agree not to:

  • Use the Services in any way that violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services or any other systems or networks
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Collect or track personal information of other users

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Symmetric Research and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our name, logo, and other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with our Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of Symmetric Research. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with our Services may be the trademarks of their respective owners.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Symmetric Research be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Services
  • Any content obtained from the Services
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

7. Payment Terms

Certain aspects of the Service may be provided for a fee. You will be responsible for paying all applicable fees for Services as described on our website. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

8. Data Processing

We use third-party services, including Google OAuth for authentication, PostHog for analytics, Loops.so for email processing, and AWS for data storage in EU servers. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms.

Your continued use of the Services after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
